Beauty Therapy Student / Wellness Attendant (Casual or Part-Time)
About the Role
Urban Sanctuary is seeking passionate beauty therapy students or recent graduates who are currently studying or have completed their beauty therapy qualifications and would love hands-on experience in a premium wellness environment.
This role begins as a Wellness Attendant position, with the opportunity to progressively incorporate beauty treatments as you demonstrate competency in specific modalities through individualised training and mentorship.
You'll start by mastering our wellness operations and guest experience standards, while we work together to build your treatment skills in a supported, sequential way. As your confidence and clientele grow, you'll naturally transition towards more treatment room work—but you'll always remain part of our integrated wellness team.
What You'll Be Doing (Wellness Attendant Duties)
- Welcoming guests and creating a calm, warm and professional experience
- Preparing treatment rooms and wellness spaces
- Assisting guests with wellness modalities such as:
- Infrared sauna
- Float therapy
- Compression therapy
- LED light therapy
- Explaining treatments and guiding guests through their wellness experience
- Supporting reception, bookings and general operations
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene
Beauty Therapy Pathway (What Makes This Role Special)

Who We're Looking For
- Currently studying or recently completed Beauty Therapy (Certificate IV or Diploma)
- Passionate about skincare, wellness, self-care and holistic recovery
- Friendly, calm and confident with clients
- Humble, collaborative and eager to learn
- Available for casual or part-time shifts, including some weekends
- Values being part of an equal, integrated team rather than working in siloed roles
