About the Role

Urban Sanctuary is seeking a qualified and passionate Massage Therapist who enjoys delivering treatments as well as being part of a broader wellness experience.

This is a hybrid role combining massage therapy with wellness attendant duties, ideal for a therapist who values variety, guest connection, and working within a calm, beautifully designed environment rather than being confined solely to the treatment room.

You’ll deliver massage treatments alongside supporting guests through our evidence-based wellness modalities, ensuring every client feels deeply cared for from arrival to departure.

Shifts are available weekdays and weekends, across our Ivanhoe and Abbotsford locations (candidates must be happy to work at either or both).

What You’ll Be Doing

Massage Therapy

• Deliver high-quality Relaxation Massage & Deep Tissue (essential)
• Deliver Pregnancy and/or Remedial Massage (desirable but not essential)
• Conduct professional consultations tailored to guest needs
• Maintain exceptional treatment standards, flow and client care
• Support repeat bookings and long-term client relationships

Wellness Attendant Duties

• Welcome guests and create a calm, warm and professional sanctuary experience
• Guide guests through wellness modalities including: Infrared sauna, Float therapy, Compression therapy and LED Bed light therapy
• Prepare and reset treatment rooms and wellness spaces
• Assist with reception, bookings and general operations as required
• Maintain impeccable hygiene, presentation and cleanliness standards
• Support the smooth running of the centre as part of a collaborative team

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified Massage Therapist (Relaxation & Deep Tissue Massage essential)
• Additional modalities (Pregnancy / Remedial) highly regarded
• Friendly, calm and confident with guests
• Professional, reliable and team-oriented
• Comfortable working both in treatment rooms and wellness spaces
• Available for casual morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends
• Happy to work across Ivanhoe and/or Abbotsford
